A Victorian terrace in the Peterborough Conservation Area reworked over four floors, with a new oriel window, 3.5-metre garden doors and a basement guest floor.
A Victorian terrace in the Peterborough Conservation Area in Fulham, designed by EMR Architecture and rebuilt by us over four floors.
Planning approval covered two features that now set the character of the ground floor. One is an oriel window, the other a set of garden doors 3.5 metres tall. Crittall screens and rooflights bring daylight into the middle of the house, and the original staircase was restored.
The basement level works as a guest and family floor, with a bedroom and en-suite, a guest WC, a media room and a utility. The first floor is given over to the parents, with a large principal bedroom, a walk-in dressing room and an en-suite.
The second floor belongs to the children, two bedrooms sharing one bathroom, and the loft is a home office with a gym corner. Bespoke joinery runs through every floor.
